Ingredients:
- 1 bunch of fresh spinach leaves
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons coconut aminos Paleo soy sauce substitute
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Thoroughly wash the fresh spinach leaves and cut off any tough stems
Heat the sesame oil in a big skillet or wok over medium-high heat
When the garlic is fragrant, add the minced garlic and saut it for one to two minutes
When the spinach leaves begin to wilt, add them to the skillet and stir-fry them for two to three minutes
After adding the coconut aminos, stir-fry the spinach for a further two to three minutes, or until it is soft and covered in sauce
Stir in the red pepper flakes if using, salt, and pepper after seasoning
After taking the skillet off of the burner, move the sesame spinach to a platter
Before serving, scatter the toasted sesame seeds over the top
