Egg Replacer Guide for Vegan Baking

This guide provides various options for replacing eggs in vegan baking, offering alternatives like flaxseed, applesauce, banana, tofu, vegan yogurt, soy milk, and aquafaba.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 2

  • 1/4 cup applesauce
  • 1/4 cup mashed banana
  • 1/4 cup silken tofu
  • 1/4 cup vegan yogurt
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened soy milk
  • 1/4 cup aquafaba liquid from canned chickpeas

Instructions:

For flaxseed: Mix 1 tbsp ground flaxseed with 2

5 tbsp water

Let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken before using

For applesauce: Replace each egg with 1/4 cup applesauce

For mashed banana: Replace each egg with 1/4 cup mashed ripe banana

For silken tofu: Blend 1/4 cup silken tofu until smooth, then use in place of each egg

For vegan yogurt: Substitute 1/4 cup vegan yogurt for each egg

For soy milk: Replace each egg with 1/4 cup unsweetened soy milk

For aquafaba: Use 3 tbsp of aquafaba to replace one egg

Whip until fluffy before adding to your recipe
