Crunchy Peanut Butter and Chocolate Tart

Indulge in the perfect marriage of crunchy peanut butter and rich chocolate with this decadent tart. The buttery cookie crust provides a sturdy base for the creamy peanut butter filling, topped with a layer of glossy dark chocolate.

Ingredients:

  • 200g chocolate cookies
  • 1/2 cup roasted peanuts
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 175F 350C

Chop chocolate cookies and roasted peanuts into small pieces in a food processor

Add the melted butter and pulse the food until it looks like wet sand

Fill a 9-inch tart pan with the dough and press it into the bottom and up the sides

Once the crust is done baking, let it cool completely

Melt the powdered sugar and salt in a bowl and mix the peanut butter in it until its smooth

Heavy cream should be whipped in a different bowl until stiff peaks form

The peanut butter mixture and whipped cream should be fully mixed together

Put the peanut butter filling into the tart crust after it has cooled

You can melt dark chocolate in a bowl that can handle heat in the microwave or over a double boiler

Add vanilla extract and stir

Spread the melted chocolate out evenly over the peanut butter filling

Put the tart in the fridge for at least two hours before you serve it
