Swedish Doughnuts

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl

Beat the eggs in a separate bowl and stir in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract

Once a smooth batter forms, pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir

In a deep pan, heat the oil to 350F 175C

To ensure even cooking, drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, rotating them occasionally

Each doughnut should take two to three minutes

Doughnuts should be taken out of the oil and drained on paper towels

Before serving, lightly dust the warm Swedish doughnuts with powdered sugar
