Ingredients:
- 8 cups popcorn, popped
- 1 cup Captain Crunch cereal
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Put the cereal Captain Crunch and the popped popcorn into a big mixing bowl
Melt the butter, peanut butter, and vanilla extract in a saucepan over low heat, stirring to combine until smooth
After carefully stirring to ensure even coating, pour the melted peanut butter mixture over the popcorn and cereal mixture
The coated mixture should be put in a big plastic bag that can be sealed
To ensure that every piece is thoroughly coated, add the powdered sugar to the bag, seal it, and shake
To cool and set, spread the mixture onto a baking sheet covered with parchment paper
Melt the chocolate chips in 30-second bursts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring in between to ensure smoothness
Over the popcorn mixture that has cooled, pour the melted chocolate
Break the mixture into clusters after the chocolate has had time to solidify
Present and savor
